        I obtained my Psychology B.A. 
from Duke University, having 
completed the first years of my 
undergraduate training at the 
University of California at Los 
Angeles (UCLA).  I received my 
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at 
the University of Tennessee,
        
        Knoxville (1988), and completed my clinical 
internship at the Veterans Administration 
Medical Center at Cincinnati, Ohio. Beginning in 
1976, I've worked in a variety of settings, 
including inpatient medical and psychiatric 
units, community mental health centers, child 
and adolescent clinics, HMO clinics, private 
practice and as a consultant for family owned 
businesses.  Originally from Los Angeles, I have 
been living and practicing in San Antonio since
